Christina Huang has been a full time real estate agent since 1989. After decades of running around to obtain helium balloons for her open houses, she realized that there had to be a better way to save time and effort. After all, we know how stressful tangled balloons exploding in the back of a car can make one feel. With many months of experimenting with flags, wooden dowels, iron sticks and various materials to enhance her real estate signs, she realized that the public still associated live events with colorful, robust balloons. They let people know the event is happening NOW!
It was quite by accident that Christina's first Aerostems were desperately designed at a Sunday open house when her office ran out of helium. Hand crafted with a few imperfections and bumps, the Aerostem Balloon Stick prototype was well on it's way to becoming a reality. Furthermore, Christina then discovered that the balloons could last up to 30 days indoors since there was no helium to shrink!
If you've ever floated balloons outside for a party or special occasion, you will find that wind, rain and snow immediately cause balloons to drop to the ground. Aerostem Balloon Sticks allow displays to stand tall and proud. People constantly wonder, "How did they do that?!"
With the help of friends and fellow real estate agents in her office, Christina worked many days and nights to handcraft thousands of balloon sticks, which she sold out of the trunk of her car office to office. She knew fellow realtors could greatly benefit from her idea. Soon, her family Andrew, Daniel and Theresa joined forces to help find a way to mass produce the product. It was important to the Huangs to be proudly made in the USA, and to market the product far and wide. Thankfully website activity and sales continue to increase with each new event or activity. Social media has helped add a personal touch, helping us meet new friends that would not otherwise have known about us.
In a very short period of time, multitudes of Aerostem Balloon Sticks have been sold. They are long lasting, light weight and re-useable. It's a win-win situation! As the worlds helium shortage continues, you'll find that the solution to floating balloons remains clear. "Do YOU Aerostem?!"
